Our story
We started because the attars we could afford smelled cheap by lunchtime, and the ones that didn't cost more than a week's work.
Small batches, on purpose
Every blend is mixed in batches of forty to sixty bottles. That is not a marketing number — it is how much oil we can macerate properly in the space we have, and how much we can sell before the top notes start to turn. An attar is not a tin of paint. Rose absolute oxidises, citrus goes flat, and a bottle that has sat in a warehouse for two years is a different fragrance from the one that was blended.
It also means we run out. When a blend is gone it is gone for four to six weeks while the next batch macerates. We would rather tell you that than sell you something we mixed in a hurry.
What we mean by long-wear
Most of our blends sit between eight and twelve hours on skin. That range is on every product page, and it is measured the boring way: worn on a wrist through a working day in Lahore heat, and checked again at the end of it.
It is a range because skin is not standard. Dry skin holds less. Heat pushes a fragrance out faster and burns through it sooner. If a blend lasts you three hours and the page said ten, tell us — that is worth knowing, and we would rather fix the page than argue with you.
The oils
Oud comes from Assam and, in two blends, from Cambodia. Rose is Taif where the page says Taif and Bulgarian where it does not. Sandalwood is Australian, not Mysore — real Mysore sandalwood at any usable volume is either illegal or a lie, and we would rather be honest about the substitution than quiet about it.
Where we use a synthetic we say so. Ambroxan, iso E super and calone all appear in our blends. They are not filler; they are the only way to get certain effects without an animal or an endangered tree, and anyone who tells you their fragrance is one hundred percent natural is either wrong or selling you something that will not last two hours.
Bottles
Six, twelve and thirty millilitres. No hundred-millilitre bottle, because an attar at this concentration is applied a dab at a time and a hundred millilitres is a decade of wear. A twelve is roughly a year for most people.
Where we are
Lahore. We deliver across Pakistan, usually in two to four working days, and cash on delivery is available everywhere we ship. There is no shop you can walk into yet — everything is blended, bottled and packed by the two of us.
